they lost 7-5 6-4 but won 50% of the points each (allowing for the scoreboard's inability to differentiate between 60 and 61 points.)

So a close run thing. Perahps just a few "important points" in it

Shaggy/Vemic are 12-12 in the 1st set t/b against Melzer/Knowle. They did chuck away 4 set points at 6-2 though. bleh

They served for it again at 14-13, lost both service points and Knowle/Melzer took the 1st set 16-14. Doh!! ashamed

I lost count of the number of set points they had, must have been close to double figures.

Good recovery in the 2nd - they have gained the first break of the match and lead *3-2. smile.gif

They went on to take the 2nd set 6-2 and then won the MTB 10-4! smile.gif

A good recovery, and nice revenge for DC.

Yes, Steven must have got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning!

Andy is first on court against Albert Montanes, at 4pm local time. I make that 1pm here but check for yourselves, I am famously inaccurate about time zones.smile
