You'll all be pleased to know the temperature has dropped quite a lot since this morning.

I'm up at the airport though which is about 30-45mins from Melbourne park by car but it's really nice outside.

The match before Josh's is 6-4 3-2 so if it finishes in straights, he could be on around 2. However, do we really want the player who could be Ukraine's no. 2 in DC to get a confidence boosting straight sets win?!

yer, i think josh should win this but a QR2 match against udomchoke or pashanki will be much more difficult and if he does manage to battle through that then theres most likely korolev to get past, it would be a big ask for him to qualify me thinks

Yes, that's true - at the moment it's just important to make sure he gets at least some qualifying points here by winning his first match.
