Boys: Eddie Herr International Junior Championships

Like the Girls there are 4 events: U12/U14/U16/U18 but our strongest contingent here is in the under 16s, including George Morgan, last year's Orange Bowl U14 winner. Qualifying has started for the U14/U16/U18.  Tom Hill, Jonathan Cornish, Clay Crawford, Brooks Allen, Jathan Malik  and Joshua Ward-Hibbert have survived the opening rounds of the U14s. Michael Davis, Alex Bull, James Whike, James Allemby and Alex Golding begin their campaigns to qualify for the U18s today

In the under 12 main draw:

Christopher Reynolds GBR v  Luka Milacic-Perusina  CAN
Robert Marshall  GBR v Anish Wijestinhe  SRI
Isaac A Klonaris  BAH v Jacob Buckler  GBR
Dan Stefan   USA  v Alexander Sendegeya  GBR

Tough for Alastair against last week's winner: If the British under 18 entry is thin the same cannot be said for the under 16s where we have 12 boys, just one fewer than the host nation.

Excellent results from the U16 guys. It would be nice to see Carpenter do well - I don't recall hearing of him much this year. Shame he has to meet Morgan so early on.

That's amazing getting 10 into the Last 16 in the U16s.

Shame Morgan, Carpenter & Marselek are all in the same section.  They're our top guys aren't they?
