Jade C continues to flourish in the doubles, if only she could reproduce her form in the singles.
SF CURTIS (GBR) / ZHANG (HKG) (3) defeated DOMINIKOVIC (AUS) / STEWART (AUS) (2) 7-5 6-7(2) [10-2]
Final CALDERWOOD (AUS) / GOLDS (AUS) Vs CURTIS (GBR) / ZHANG (HKG) (3)
Great win for Joss.
Jade W has shown a bit of promise on this tour of India and Australia. She's so slender you just think she just needs to beef up a bit to push on towards top 500 and beyond.
For some reason, Jocelyn's 8 points for reaching the QFs here that got added last Monday have nowbeen taken away again and on her player activity page, it still shows her prize money for this tournament byut the points have been reset to 0.
That's the second time this year that a GB girl has had their biggest points haul cancelled and Jocelyn has been 17 since February and has only scored points in 13 tournaments this year, so she can't have broken the age eligibility rule like Tara Moore did with her WCs.
I've emailed the WTA, but unlike the ATP, they didn't reply the last time I emailed them about something like this, so has anyone got any idea why this might have happened?

Ahhh! I thought she was 18 and she is only 17. If you add all the singles and doubles tournaments it makes a total of 18. You could say that both Tara and Jocelyn suffered loss of points because they agreed to play Wimbledon.
I think you must be right - I hadn't twigged that a tournament counted towards the limit if you scored points in singles and/OR doubles in it, though it is clear in the rule.
What a pathetic rule - it effectively means that under 18s whose main priority is singles should never risk entering doubles unless they are already guaranteed a singles point from the tournament.
If this is the case, it seems like the WTA don't have an automatic system in place to pick up on this, so they must just wait for one of their rivals to complain ... which may explain why the Brits keep getting caught just as they've had their best ever tournament.
