Let's not forget Jezza Bates, who's also in the singles, and Chris Wilkinson. All the Brits will be having a crack at the doubles.

Pioline just upset Pistol Pete in two tiebreaks (good standard of tennis) to meet Greg in Sunday's final. Jamie M is currently on court playing doubles (being shown on ITV4 - stands at 4 all at present)

Amazingly considering this is a commercial promotion, the official website doesn't bother to post results of ANY of the previous doubles matches from Wednesday to Saturday. If they are that irrelevant why do they even bother to play doubles in this event.

Pioline won the Final 11-9 in the CTB after a match in which I don't think there was a single break of serve. Not sure quite how Greg contrived to lose it, since he seemed to be ahead virtually from start to finish, including a MP at 9-8, but unfortunately he did. He was very unlucky that an umpiring mess-up cost him a m/b in the 2nd set tiebreak - he was very nice about it but there's no way he'd have let the officials get away with it if it had been a main tour match.
