Murray : Off-Season Media Reports

Would be good to have this thread through November and December and please post as many good or not so good articles on Andy.

Try and give an active link and if you copy and paste a part of the article please give source credit. Dont post full articles.

I have made this a sticky.

From the ATP's home page, an article from their "Deuce" magazine:Murray muscles his way into ATP Elite
http://www.atptennis.com/5/en/deuce/november2008/murray.asp

Describes some of his training routines (Ouch!!) amongst other things.

Copy of SHHH post...

Neil has written on Andy leaving for training today, who in turn mentions Dan Evans and Marcus Willis. I hope our other players attempt to do a version of what Andy is doing to approach the game. With all the money being spent on coaches and NTC I still get the impression Andy is learning it all for the first time blankstare

Interesting article on Andy's off-season plans and other things. He mentions that at the Master's Cup, he did intend to conserve energy in the match against Fed, but that he absolutely hates to lose so, in the heat of the battle . . .

Well you know what happened!

Nothing of major importance but The Times is reporting that Andy will be switching to a lucrative contract with K-Swiss from next season: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/tennis/article5333992.ece

Looks like things have changed, from Andy's website

Andy has confirmed he'll continue to wear Fred Perry clothing in 2009, as the company enters an historic year.

Andy said: "I will be wearing Fred Perry clothing next year. 2009 would have been Fred Perry's 100th birthday, and the company has a great range of clothes lined up for me."
