Quite possibly: easy to get your champs and chumps mixed up!
It's nice to see GB packing a strong group of young players into an overseas Futures tournament - hopefully one of the guys will come up trumps this week.
In the doubles Cox & Milton are due to play Mashiach & Steele (ISR), while Rice and his partner, Martin Klizan, have already won their first-round match 6-3 3-6 [10-8].

They follow Marcus Willis & Amir Weintraub on to Court 15. Kick-off is no earlier than 13.30 local time, so 11.30 GMT.
For the record, Dan Cox gets proceedings under way on that same court with his first-round encounter with Siarhei Betau (BLR), a fellow qualifier, at 07.30 GMT. Fingers crossed for all the boys...
Some consolation for Dan Cox in the doubles: he & Josh Milton won by 1 & 4, but face the fourth seeds, Amir Hadad & Andreas Haider-Maurer (ISR/AUT), in the QFs. Rice & Klizan could have been expected to have to do battle with the fourth seeds, Pierre-Ludovic Duclos & Yannick Mertens (CAN/BEL), in their quarter, but they were well beaten today by the more lowly-ranked Dmitri Sitak & Dzmitry Zhyrmont (RUS/BLR) (1 & 1!), who are more on R&K's level (1318 compared with 1883)...
Just to put those results into context (rankings changed from those shown on page 1 to those on Monday's list):
L32: (LL) David Rice WR 969 lost to (1) Andreas Haider-Maurer (AUT) WR 332 by 3 & 4 L32: (Q) Joshua Milton WR 751 lost to (Q) Jurgen Zopp (EST) WR 662 by 4 & 3 L32: (Q) Daniel Cox WR 820 lost to (Q) Siarhei Betau (BLR) WR 679 by 6-2 3-6 7-6(2) L32: (Q) Marcus Willis WR 999 beat Amir Weintraub (ISR) WR 544 by 6-1 3-6 6-1
L16: (Q) Marcus Willis WR 999 v (2) Jan Mertl (CZE) WR 364

Well done to Marcus, a strong result (with quite a second round to follow.....).
Of the others, David Rice's show is pretty good really - giving away 600 ranking places. I'm sure Dan C will be annoyed to have closed out that tight three setter.
Although expected I am slightly disappointed that it wasn't closer, for some reason I had a feeling that Marcus would take a set at least [Unfounded optimism isn't usually one of my traits..]. Oh well, playing against such opposition can only be a good experience for Marcus

But neither pair survived, Cox & Milton losing by 5 & 2 & Rice & Klizan by 5 & 4.
