Hutch & Booty are the 2nd seeds, they play Hanescu & Tecau. Murray & Delgado have drawn fellow unseeded pair Bubka & Stakhovsky.

There is a quote from Bubka on the website (badly translated) 'It will be usefull to watch Jamie Murray before  the next year Davis CUP' - said Bubka. 'I don't think that Delgado will be in the team and that Jemie with his brother will make national team stronger. One time I played against Jemie, but it was so long time ago, Sergiy in a good feet at the moment so his chances are rather high.'

             Hutch & Booty will be last match on court 2 v Hanescu & Tecau (ROU).

Just a quick word of warning, you need to install the latest version of VLC Media Player to watch the matches (fairly good quality from both courts). Just follow the instructions exactly after you click the link and you should be fine.

Murray & Delgado lost 6-4, 6-3. cry

Hutch & Booty won the first set 6-3, and were serving for the second at *5-4, came from 15-40 to deuce but then lost the deciding point. It is now 6-3, *5-6.

They are likely to face a tough QF match against either Canas & Tursunov or Karagiannis & Sela (the former have just won the first set 6-2). Canas & Turunov will be really tough as they are both quality singles players, but maybe Hutch and Booty's 'doubles expertise' will shine through.

       I have to agree with you, wolf, if it is Cañas & Tursunov, which is looking highly likely, they will be a more difficult team to crack. Perhaps the fact they are both in the singles might have some effect on their next-round doubles match. Fingers crossed for the Brit/Yank duo. teamwork.gif

The second seed Igor Kunitsyn, who won in the final match fo Kremlin Cup against Marat Saphin is leaving PEOPLEnet CUP 2008 tournament.

The second seed Igor Kunitsyn, who won in the final match fo Kremlin Cup against Marat Saphin is leaving PEOPLEnet CUP 2008 tournament. He didn't managed with Dnys Istomin. The first set was determined on tie-break where Denys was luckier. In the second set the game was less tense. Firstly Denys was leading - 4:1, but after Igor realized a few breaks and won the set - 6:4. The match results - 7:6 (7:4); 4:6; 6:4 Istomin wins.

Doubles matches lost top seed and 4th seed pairs. Michal Mertinak/Lovro Zovko lost match to Levy/Wassen pair - 6:3; 7:6 (5). Scoch/Zelenay couldn't manage with Kubot/Marach - 6:3; 6:3. The next match was Stefan Koubek - Dudi Sela. Stefan was really dangerous opponent. He won Sela(7) with his experience -  7:6(7:3); 6:4.

The first tour Sergiy's opponent was Bjorn Phau. The first set was won by Phau - 6:4. In the second set makes break - and leaded  4:1 but in the 7th game Phau took it back. In the 10th game Sergiy finished the set 6:4. The final set was won by Sergiy. Match results - 4:6; 6:4; 6:3.


but at least they're starting to report the results of the day's matches now! smile

Canas and Tursunov won the first set 6-3 but Hutch and Booty are *4-2 up in the second set.

The boys lost the football 5-2. cry
