Week 46 - Futures F28 (10K) - Guaralhos - Sao Paulo, Brazil

James Feaver is a DA here and Maniel Bains probably will be too if he has travelled there - it's his priority 1 event and he was 4th alternate at the last update, higher than any of the players in qualifying.

Feaver getting a bit of luck here smile.gif - the no. 2 seed (the other seed in his quarter) went out to an unranked WC today and the other top 500 player in his half of the draw went out too!

L16: (8) James Feaver WR 752 lost to Rafael Garcia (BRA) WR 795 by 6-2 6-7(5) 7-5 bleh

With the QF opponent for the winner ranked outside the top 1300, this was a big chance missed. cry

i missed this at the time, but great emoti Mad, i deserved it.

although i have to say i thought BRA was part of his surname when i read it and it only clicked later that it meant Brazilian (i am not sure if that makes it better or worse tho?)
