RE: Week 45 - ITF (100K+h) - Kraków, Poland

Anne 3-3 Probably a rebreak but I wouldn't be certain. I have seen Tour level women's matches with 10 breaks in a set!

What a win! What a tournament!

That'll take her to no.61 in the rankings.

Congratulations to Anne!
The biggest tournament win by any British woman since Sara Gomer and Monique Javer won Tour events in 1988 (only 50K, but allowing for inflation would be more than 100K today). Also finally overcoming a big bogey opponent.

Congratulations Anne. Great week for her, winning her biggest tournament to date and doing it by beating a higher-ranked and bogey opponent in the final.

Could top 50 be a possiblity for next year?

Thanks DavidC, I was wondering how long it was since a Brit had won a tournament that big.

Amazing. What a way for Anne to end her year. Its been such a good year for her, t think many people said she wouldn't last long in the top 100. I think shes almost certain to still be there by wimbledon now.
