I love the way Anne tends to win so comprehensively against players ranked where she was only a few months ago - the "I'm in the top 100, and I really belong here, don'tcha know!" approach
Niculescu (WR 53) has beaten Anne in straight sets three times this year without giving up more than four games in any of the six sets and she has a 10-match winning streak against Brits since Elena beat her in Fed Cup in 2004. That's a big gap in class to make up, but the kind of match Anne needs to win if she has desgins on the top 50, and coming into this match on such a roll, hopefully she believes she can do it.
Even if she doesn't, she'll be at a new career high of 65-66 on Monday, I think, and with her semi-final win today, she has made it to 500 ranking points for the first time.

I noticed she was breaching 500 ranking points mark. I think she has done really well to get there-after the USO the talk was all about whether she could defend her autumn points, but she has actually added to them.
It's important that she's kicked on, as she can't guarantee getting to two GS second rounds each year, and these count heavily in the rankings. Getting these kind of runs at other events will secure her in the lucrative top 100 for a good time.
