I went to watch the matches today in sunderland, why they put the robson v moore and rich v colin match on at the same time is terrible for the spectators.
Colin played a great match today he took a 5-2 lead in the first set but was broken at 5-3 so te set went into a tiebreak which was very close, rich having a set point in the breaker which he couldent convert and fleming did on his first set point.
The second set was similar to the first with coling servig for the match at 5-2 but was broken to 30 but at his second attempt he converted to take the title.

They don't usually expect spectators . . . but with Laura Robson there maybe they should have this time. I wish I could have gone. Were there many spectators, Jack?
glad flembo won it thats three different winners in three weeks in britain with ward getting the one in france all in all vvery good three weeks at futures level!
Good tournament and a great win for Colin. Despite not winning this week, I hope Richard is encouraged by his recent match success and that it inspires him to climb back up the rankings.

Yes, maybe winning the number of matches he has over the last two weeks might be good for Richard's confidence.
But he could win eighteen 12 point future tournaments in a year, and still barely be ranked in the top 200.
He needs to be achieving more success in challengers.
As for Colin, if he is now able to give the circuit his full commitment, it will be really interesting to see how far he can go. I hope he begins by making a certain point in Jersey next week ! ( edit : ah, I see he lost quite decisively in Qualifying Round One. Maybe, if he had had a rest after Sunderland and hadn't had to blooming qualify ...)
