Boggo lost, not sure of the score though

Ouch that's as painful as a scalding pan to the forehead

Nonetheless it is reminiscent of many of Boggo's losses, i.e to players that he has comfortably beaten in the not so distant past

Things can only get better though...

jst cnt seem to get a win at th moment. dont think hes won a singles match since th davis cup.

I think he has to go back 2 th drawing board 4 next year and not play davis cup it seems 2 hurt his fragile confidence 2 much he cnt deal with the pressure. also shown by no wins at wimbledon wher ther is a level of expectation

And it now appears that news of Boggo's loss has struck a heart chord with one 'fan':

Whoever went in and hacked that must have had a lot of money on Boggo winning today, I'm reckoning. Either that or nothing better to do.

I hope not.

I know why I'm still up at this hour of a Tuesday morning - a student that doesn't have lessons on Tuesdays, but what's your excuse big S?

Catching up on some work I need to do before the morning starts properly, and currently distracting myself by looking for the Boggo and Eaton results and the draw in Hawaii. * gives self a hard stare * (which is quite hard to do without a mirror! smile.gif )

thats a grim loss. to capitualte after a close 1st set isnt good.

really alex has 1 event left to get some credibility back to the year end, in jersey. cant see him getting anywhere at helsinki, but at the moment unless he gets a nice draw in jerswy i can see him ending the year with no more wins and really the year end cant come soon enough.

i cant believe anyone would have bet on alex to win that match, being the higher ranekd player and having recently thrashed scoville then the odd for alex would ahve been low, being honest most of us here would have bet on scoville. surely after this alex has to stop the dc. i cant see what else it can be. he was in decent form going into the tie. after its about as bad as its ever been.

And people wonder why I won't believe anything that is quoted from Wikipedia! How it has the name of being a reliable source I do not know.

i am not sure. he doesnt have a private coach anymore as such, i think he just shares the LTA ones with the others, i dont believe anyone has been with him on this little trip.

i think he also has a non lta friend who acts as a coach/mentor sometimes.
