Slabba really should be looking to qualify here, as there isn't any big dangers in his section like there was with Ignatik last week.

this is an outdoor event. (i think)
which is a bit odd for thsi time of year.

in the past you'd think indoor hard would be better for boggo but maybe he can fianlly find a singles win outdoors.

Hopefully Boggo can remember what he did against Jenkins last time and get a win here, which should be what he's looking for from this week.

I had a feeling he'd lose, just can't buy a win at this level at the moment.

odd to see them popping up in dubs q, but maybe a chance for boggo to get a feel for the courts and slabba to try and extend his week.

i assume alex and slabba play today.

if alex wins he will have to play his fqr dubs match then only get a few hrs before taking on scoville.

i cant see him putting too much effort into the dubs in these circumstances. unless for some reason he asked to play his singles today youd think the organisers could have at least given him a tuseday start.

They might at least have given Boggo an evening match, but the doubles is 2nd after 11 am local and his singles is n/b 3 pm local.

Scrap that - they pulled out of doubles qualifying and were replaced by an alternate pair. Good move by the Bogster if you ask me.

yes, perhaps they only entered hoping they'd make the md direct.

its unusual for boggo to play dubs on the final week of a away trip tho as he normally prefers to head home and prepare for his next event once he loses singles.

looks like we may have to wait for ATP score updates on this one. or maybe from mtf. if i find out b4 tho i'll post it.
