RE: Week 45 - Challenger (37.5k+H) - Eckental, Germany

Another victory for Aucks & Torres:  4-6 6-3 [10-3]. w00t.gif  Keep it up all the way to the title, boys! wink  Their opponents in the semi-final will be the Australian  top seeds, Jordan Kerr & Todd Perry, with whom Aucks is not exactly unacquainted!

Aw, how kind! smile  Won't be any sign of me on this thread ter-morrer:  no sign of Aucks & Torres on tomorrow's OoP, so it's a fair assumption they'll be playing their SF on Saturday! wink

Well done to Aucks for another good week, and hopefully he can reach another final to keep the run going.

And that semi-final will be played at about 14.00 GMT today. pray.gif

It's virtually impossible to make out what's going on in the match, as the bottom fifth of the tiny picture on the site which purports to show the live score refuses to load, but I think Aucks & Torres may have won the semi 7-6(?) 6-3... confused  pray.gif

Ah, great news! clap.gif  Serves me right for relying solely on the Eckental site! angered.gif

Just for the record, Aucks' & Torres' opponents in tomorrow's final will be the second seeds, Yves Allegro & Horia Tecau (SUI/ROU).  At the risk of jinxing their chances of taking the title, they surely have nowt to fear & nowt to lose now! wink pray.gif

But all to gain.nod.gif The second seeds did, however, have an easy ride in their SF. They only had to play 3 games & then their opponents retired. furious

Sadly, they couldn't quite pull it off, losing 3-6 6-3 [7-10]. crying.gif
