Cox top seed so it looks like Bamford and Illingworth have sneaked in main draw to join Bloomers, Evans and Skupski.
The Brits on the alts list not in qualies are Flanagan, Fleming, Arlidge and Willis so maybe they have the wild cards, but I am guessing more likely Illingworth didn't quite scrape in as a DA and Flan didn't bother to turn up.
When I noticed that, I just assumed he was trying to make me feel better for having failed to notice the same player in qualies last week (or some recent week anyway!)
WCS HERE:
I assume that Meatball has a SE and doesn't need a WC, that Bammy (who was 1st Alt) got a DA when the other SE spot was cleared and surely Colin Fleming has got a WC after he made such good use of the one he got last week if he's not in qualies.
I assume too that Jamie B would have got one if he wanted one (but if he tried Glasgow to see how recovered he was and the answer was 'not enough', maybe he didn't want one) and we know that one went to the winner of the club singles, Darkey (who's from Ghana)
The other players high up on the Alt list who aren't in qualifying are Matt Illingworth, who was higher up the Alt list than the top seed in qualifying, so you'd think he must have got in somehow (scraped a DA or got a WC), and Flan, who surely hasn't got a WC and has just decided not to play because he didn't get straight into the main draw.
That probably leaves space one unranked junior again.

Ok I made a mistake but how the hell could Willis have got a SE when this starts on Monday and Glasgow finished on Sunday?
Oops, you mean Glasgow finished on Saturday, but you're correct that he can't have got an SE.
So maybe WCs for Willis, Fleming and Baker or Pauffley as well as club champion ... and not for any unranked juniors (which would be unusual for a 10K)
Of course, GB nos 6-9 aren't down to play anywhere else this week either, just to throw a bit more confusion into the mix!

At least we agree (see 3 posts up) ... though that must mean the LTA has done something different!
P.S. Darkey is 32, plays for Ghana as previously mentioned, and had a career high of 485 in 2001! His last match on ITF was in Botswana in DC in 2006 and in his last Futures match, he lost to one of our old friends Komlavi Loglo from Togo in Nigeria and back in 2003, he beat Bloomers in Queen's qualifying before losing to Big Arv.
No wonder he won the club championship then!
