Phew!  That was close!  I was convinced they were going to blow it in the MTB!  Glad they proved me wrong! biggrin  Great win for the boys.  Perhaps it will go some way towards putting a stop to the unkind sniping that is sometimes aimed in Jamie's general direction! wink

What on earth could you be talking about. confusedevileye

Seriously though, well done to them, that should have done Jamie's confidence a power of good. smile

Well done to them on getting a win, as I was convinced they would blow it when it went into the MTB.

Vizner may be available as a partner next year (unless he goes back to playing with Dlouhy again, which is a possibility), and he does have the kind of game Jamie needs to have in a partner (that said, I'd be amazed if the two were a permanent partnership)

What the heck do I know about owt, I ask myself? evileye Great win, just what the doctor ordered. Now, $1, 000 000 question - can they get through the next round against Coetzee & Moodie?

First match on Court 1 at 10.00 GMT tomorrow.  Doubt they have a snowball's chance in Hades, but stranger things have happened & they've certainly nowt to lose... pray.gif

7-5 7-5 appears close but they were 10/13 BPs saved whereas C&M only had 1 BP against them the whole match.

I watched this. It was pretty close until 5-5 in the first, after which Murray and Vizner lost four games in a row to lose the set and go a break down in the next. Did well to get back into it but they definitely deserved to lose. Jamie played as well as his partner, but Jamie played all his good stuff on meaningless points. Was pleased to see Jamie serve first out of the pair.
