St Petersburg Final: Andy v Andrey Golubev

Andy plays the qualifier 'from' Kazakhstan in what should be a straightforward final.

I put from in quotation marks as, lets face it, he's Russian!

Match starts at 1pm UK time tommorow (remember those clocks go back).

The Russians change their clocks tonight as well, so it's still a 3 hour difference. According to the OOP it's at 4pm local - so I reckon it's 1pm here.

But knowing my troubles with time differences you had better all check at 12 in case I'm wrong!

There is a hilarious "Who will win" poll on MTF:

Option 1: Muzza in 2
Option 2: Muzza in 3
Option 3: Russian mob kidnaps Muzza; Golubev wins

I hope they are not tempting fate!

Option 4: Dunblane 'Hoodies' kidnap Golubev, subject him to watching 3 back to back episodes of 'River City'; Muzza wins*

*Golubev retires from tennis shortly afterwards.

The doubles final has just finished (Parrot & Polasek beat Mirnyi & Bopanna 3-6, 7-6(4), 10-8) but they might be setting up a presentation so the singles might be a few minutes late.

The live stream was working well for the doubles but with more people watching the singles it will probably go back into his state of uselessness.

this is the best live stream I have found, you will have to install an add on but the picture quality is really good.

Andy leads 2-1*. First time this week I can't remember him not breaking in the first game!

Andy's a huge favourite here - you can get odds of 12/1 on a Golubev win.
