Splendid win for the boys! I was convinced at one point that they were going to blow it! Well done to them for holding their nerve! We'll know by close of play today who their semi-final opponents will be, too, as Björkman & Ullyett (1) are scheduled to take on Arnold Ker & Soares immediately after the Simon/Seppi match finishes.
1) Ross says it was very pleasing to turn around the CTB...they both played some great points.
2) Here is hoping that the south american pair can take care of the top seeds !
1) How can it be a CTB when they were playing only a quarter-final? The tournament sites where it is in operation generally refer to it as an MTB or a super tie-break!
2) Well, they didn't! As DavidC has reported, Björkman & Ullyett won (7-6(1) 6-4, for the record). And surely you're doing the boys a disservice by saying that: for the title to mean anything, if, God willing, they win it, I imagine they would want to think they'd pitted themselves against - & beaten - the best in the tournament, viz. the top seeds!
