A few dicey moments from the pair during the tie-break, but eventually it all came good. clap.gif A very good win after such a drought for Jamie. I'm really pleased for him, especially as I'd given them virtually no chance of winning. redface.gif Then again, what do I know? - nowt!

Messrs Ascione & Gicquel up next.

'Tis tomorrow afternoon on court 1. No sign of H&H.

Ross confirmed that they are down for Thursday for their QF.

Almost an hour later and they are still not up, they are giving Ascione a rest after his singles earlier.

For anyone who is interested in doubles, Max Mirnyi's doubles match in St.Petersburg is on the live stream on the official website.

Ascione has finally decided to get himself off the sofa and the match is up on LS.

M&L to serve first.

H&H play on court 1 after the "CHILDREN'S CLINIC - APPROX 2 HOURS" and not before 3.30pm local (2.30pm here).

Jeff COETZEE (RSA) / Wesley MOODIE (RSA) vs Stephen HUSS (AUS) / Ross HUTCHINS (GBR)

Dont know why the french have to use a tennis court for childrens first aid....maybe we should follow suit...they seem to produce top 100 players regularly....or am I missing something ?

They are on the scoreboard, H&H to serve first.

I'll be surprised if they win this, but they have beaten better pairings than these two before so you never know.

3-3 at the moment. Just one bp in the match so far, which Huss and the Hutch saved.
