You're too late, Steven - it's surely all over. We just don't know who won!

Colin didn't win, but apart from that, what a fantastic set of results (according to the BBC)

QF: (Q) Marcus Willis WR 1114 beat Martin Klizan (SVK) WR 677 by 4-6 6-3 7-6(6) biggrin
QF: Ken Skupski WR 575 beat beat Bastian Knittel (GER) WR 621 by 4 & 4 smile
QF: (8/WC) Daniel Evans WR 558 beat Colin Fleming WR 854 by 6-7 (8) 6-3 6-4 smilecry

So, three Brits plus the son of a former Olympic gold medallist and double slam finalist in the semis ...

SF: (Q) Marcus Willis WR 1114 v Miloslav Mecir (SVK) WR 631
SF: (8/WC) Daniel Evans WR 558 v Ken Skupski WR 575

Wow, this is turning into a near perfect tournament! smile

Will a tournament win take Dan or Ken into the top 500?

A brilliant set of results to come home too, and although there is disappointment for Colin I do prefer to see the young and up & coming players triumph generally smile

Great wins for all three: Marcus and Ken determined not to slide down the rankings in the next few weeks and Evo continuing to show he's on the way to the next level.

What a week for Marcus Willis! Great time to stand up and defend last autumn/winter's points!

Really nice to see Ken have another good week as it's been a while for him what with absence and/or injury.

I wanted Evo to win because I want his confidence to remain up! I think Colin will bounce back from this defeat so I'm not too worried about him!

Still only 4 points each so far so I hope Marcus can beat Mecir and make it 20 poijts to share between the Brits in the final

Lol i was wondering why you hadn't got in contact!, The Evans-Fleming match was definitely a closely fought tussle, with evo managing to lose the first set despite being up a double break! It's good to see him coming back strongly in the end as he was always looking to dominate although at times overcooking, I had to leave after he broke at one all in the second. Skupski's match was also relatively tight with Ken breaking at 4 all in the first, and routinely serving out the set. The point which Skupski won to take the break was very classy, as Knittel has Ken under all kinds of pressure moving him from side to side, Ken produced a sweet dropshot-lob combo which was perfection to snatch the break. Again I had to leave early in the second, but it looks like Ken kept up his good level, I have to say in what I saw of the match I don't think he faced a Bp. Good to see Willis coming through, shame i didn't get to see any of it.
