Hey all, didn't have time to post earlier, saw a lot of the guys matches today. Marcus Willis played out of his skin to edge a fiercely contested first set against the top seed, and even better to regain his composure after he lost an early break of serve in the second to break and take the match in a high quality encounter. In Thornley's match he was up a break in the first set and competeing well yet it all seemed to get away from him fast, after losing an extremely tight first set which could have gone either way the second set slipped away fast, such a shame. Evo's match should have been over in straights he was playing suberbly and was up a set and a break when he through in a sloppy game when serving at 4-3, from then on Luncanu just managed to edge the important points and snatched the set. In the third set Evans managed to snatch an early break and held on to it to take the set 6-4 in what turned out to be a very tight match in the end. The Milton-Fleming match was a tense affair which drew the largest crowd by far, Milton failed to serve out the first set at 5-4 were he had set points. The first set was very close and full of deuce's and Bp's and after losing it Milton was steamrolled in the second quickly falling 0-5 behind. Skupski's match was 4 all in the first when I left and Pauffley's match was just starting. I might be able to go along tomorrow morning before I start work at 1 depending on what's on.

I think Knittel is the favourite here, he was as high as 221 in Apr 07 but was injured for over six months from Oct 07 to Apr 08. He seems to blow a bit hot and cold though so lets hope this is not a 'hot' week.
