RE: Week 42 - Futures F1 (10k) - Islamabad, Pakistan

brilliant piece of confidence there, entering in some scientific disease i can come away with!
well i have been avoiding salads and anything washed in water unless its cooked.

But even when you are carefull somtimes u still get ill anyways.
Im hearing there is this clay you can take that gets rid of the bacteria when your ill and your recovered by the morning aslong as its not dangerous.
Shall i try taking some from the courts tomorrow incase i get ill?? haha

Food wise i have taken bars with me, there almost done. ordering from the hotel, no idea where or what the kitchen looks like no resteraunt, put it this way i orderd from the sparce menu, a steak and it looked and tasted like someone had put it in their mouth, spat it back on the plate and hit it with a hammer....

hungry anyone? lol

Sorry about that, was just trying to keep you on your toes and alert to potential danger - I thought an 'eg' might just push it home!

Ha, to eat or to lay on the courts?!

As I presume you're sitting around rather bored at the moment, if you're not already aware.. you can go to bet365.com [Register - it's free] and you can watch the Murray match/rest of the days play.

yes thanks for the heads up, i will try not to get any of that stuff,
im a big salad eater, and they keep giving me side salads and its so tempting.

but ive been there too many times to know what it can do.
To eat the clay, but calling it clay would be a massive compliment.

It is mud or crushed brick.... oh yes i forgot to say, they have put on plastic lines, but on my court today, they just had the baselines done... haha how ridiculous is that.

Rest of the court paint on, if it hits the line, GAME OVER!

Well done Fitzy on the win, and good luck in the 2nd round, as I'm sure it's a match that is winnable.

You've done the first thing and defended your point from last year, so hopefully you can push on now and try and break the top 1000 in the next few months, as I'm sure you have the ability to do it.

Perhaps you could smuggle in your own 'non' diseased lettuces the next time you play in Pakistan.

Ha, I'm intrigued by these courts, is there any way you could take a photo and post it up? At the moment I'm picturing a ploughed field with some tip-ex lines and sacred cows wandering across at various junctures.

well there is a very strange dutch guy who is trying to play doubles with me next week, he has a camera i will try to take a pic of them and then get him ot email it too me.

basically its in the middle of wild bush, so if you loose a ball dont go looking for it, i did the other day and almost lost my leg in a massive whole and for sure would have got eaten by a snake or some unknown creature.
there is this factory next to the tennis centre which blows out shocking fumes, covers the skys, for sure it has created some sort of super being in the forest no one has seen yet.... well thats my theory anyways!

Brilliant smile.gif reading this is almost like being there (and a damn sight safer!)

Does the crushed "brick" smell remarkably like it was made in a cow's arse? Or is that just an ugly rumour about "clay"/"hard" courts in that part of the world? biggrin

Is the strange Dutch guy Cr**er? (I've **d out part of the name so that he's unlikely to find this page with you calling him strange if he ever does a google search for himself. I thought for a moment you might mean Middelkoop, but unfortunately he's not there is he.

And what a wonderful record this Cr**er has: http://www.itftennis.com/mens/players/activity.asp?player=100094472

Having never played a competetive doubles match I presume that you're biting at the chomp to team up with him

I have been getting some strange looks from my husband as I am in fits of laughter reading this!

Keep going, Fitzy, you can't lose and deprive us of more commentary!

yeah that is him, cramer or somthing like that, for the sake of 200 euros he took 4 days to get here, met someone on his 30 hour train trip from bombay, india and he is staying with the person he met! ridiculous.

Not it doesnt smell its just shocking, i slide over at the back of the court for a slice, and turfed up half the court!

Feaver won 6-4 6-3, which is a good win.

bains won 6-1 and 6-2. bains plays local hero aqeel khan tomorrow in my section, i play filenkov who won 6-3 6-1.

He has a religion which he believes everything is an energy, and he thinks he will win tennis matches by becoming one with the court and accpeting all the energies around him.
i mean everyone is entitled to their own opinion...but....

He started saying to me i was giving off the same energy as one of his friends, and for a second he thought i was him... i mean come on!!!

no worries there is more entertainment i just cant fit it all into one box!
glad i can give u some amusment!

just started to tip it down outside, tropic storm or somthing, soundes like the roof is about to collapse ontop of me, along with all the thegod awful things that will be up there.

I like the fact that in any other country stupid people are the worst people to give a gun to, but over here its standard practise to give a shotgun of a rifle to someone who clearly has no clue about life or what he is doing on it, but oh yes lets give him a gun so if anything happens he is the one with your life in his hands.... brilliant.

Fitzy, it sounds like your calling.....

"I just want to be there for any person who needs it. And yes, I can only reach people by talking, writing, singing and by playing tennis. I would like to obtain that feeling, not by earning money, but by experiencing absolute oneness with humanity while you and I experience all we want to experience. I have longed for that feeling for such a long time."

(Great news about Feaver and Bains btw!)
