RE: Week 42 - Futures F1 (10k) - Islamabad, Pakistan

Anybody else been having trouble getting onto the board this afternoon?

Well now I have got here at last, best of luck Fitzy, you deserve a few points for braving that lot!

Good luck to the other Brits too of course.

Lovely first round draw for you Fitzy, and really hope that you can take advantage of it and defend the point from last year, as well as going onto win another round and get another point, as the 2nd round match is winnable.

Hope you have a safe time in Pakistan as well, as it does look to be a dangerous place to be at the moment

Thanks, i just got back from my match.
I won 6-2 6-2, it was pritty comfortable and i played well.
The other guy was better than i thought and you can never under-estimate anyone on this stuff.

Next round against a deceptive pakistan guy or filenkov who has a big serve.
Both very winnable so see how that goes, asked to be first on tomorrow so that should be fine.

Other news, as i left feaver was at the start of his match with LIM i think, hes a decent player and it seemed to be a very good match.

Off for a sleep.

Congrats on the win, guess that you were too hot and dusty to cheer on Feaver.

How are you connecting to web - net cafe - network in room (watch that the rats don't chew tho he cable) - wireless?

i did for a little while but i had to leave, shower and stretch i mean i have to take care of myself aswell!
thanks, hopefully some more points on the way.

im connected via my room, from a cable going into the wall. Dont ask me how given the state of the room and animals crawling around, but there is fast internet which doesnt cut out, unless there is a power cut.... touch wood.

In england that statement would mean it would never cut out, but they have about 2 or 3 powercuts per day here.

hopefully no other players check that post as if they all go on the internet or find out about it and change to this hotel it might go slow.... so keep it on the low!

Great work AJ. 6-2 6-2 is clinical!

Any news on Maniel or Jamie yet?

Never mind two, what about all the way? Never say never.

Well done, Fitzy, you could hardly be further away from your comfort zone here.

Terrific effort. More of the same, please.

Well i will just take it one at a time.
havent managed a quater final yet so that will be another box ticked if i do that, then you are in the mixer of the tournament and anything can happen.

Hope for the best

Well done Fitzy, and good luck for R2.

What are you doing for food out there, what with the obvious risk of food poisoning, and even water poisoning [typhoid etc]?
