RE: Week 41 - Challenger (€42,500 + H) - Rennes,France

4th mp!

not saved :(

gsm sdc 75 46 64

really not good from alex at all there. i had expected more, and i look like once again the curse of the DC strikes.

this year is slipping away again and now it will be tougher from him to finish even in the top 150, let alone look to push for top 100 early next year

It's like a carbon copy of this morning, one break in each set, mainly right at the death. That's a bad, bad loss, especially given his draw. cry

After such a bad day for Brits called Alex in Rennes, let's hope tomorrow's a lot better.

Tough for Boggo - it's 10.45pm there!

Another loss but one win:-

Jamie Delgado / jonathan Marray (GBR) beat Andreas Beck (ALL) / Louk Sorensen (IRL) 6/2 6/2

(2)Jean-Julien Rojer (AHO)/Jim Thomas (USA) beat Richard Bloomfield (GBR)/Florin Mergea (ROU) 6/4 7/6

what was most dissapointing was the ammount of chnaces al was givng sdc. ok he was saving a lot but then just giving more, so much that eventually the olds will stack against you.

i really really hope alex gets a break from the dc team

There is another way of looking at it -
I doubt that Boggo 'gave away chances' more likely de Chaunac created his chances.

Had a feeling about that one.

I've always felt SDC seems to play a bit less than some others so his points come from fewer tournaments, and so his ranking doesn't always tally with his possible performance level. No proof to back that up mind!
