Of all tyrannies a tyranny exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive.... those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience
Klier hasn't won a match since Middle of June (7 straight 1st round losses)
Thats true. The negative is that Klein was in the top 500 just over a year ago and he has plenty of good results on hard surfaces. Still, thats quite a losing streak, if Burnham is on his game, it could be another point in the bag
It was Klier, breaking an 8-match losing streak stretching back to June and a 3-match losing streak against Brits (Smethurst, Slabba and Goodall) stretching back to Fed 2007 when he beat David Brewer in 3 sets. I can't remember him tearing up a GB Future but I may be wrong.
What's even more frustrating is that the no. 6 seed was replaced by an LL, so Burnham would have faced a WR 890 for a place in the QFs had he won today.
