Elena Baltacha and Katie O'Brien should be seeded here, and Amanda Elliot is also a DA. Wild cards have gone to Anna Smith, Jade Curtis and Tara Moore, leaving one left to someone who is not on the entry list, more than probably Laura Robson, I can't see the organisers turning her down if she asked for one.
On the qualifying list at the moment there is Kat Brown, Yasmin Clarke, Natasha Khan, Olivia Scarfi, Lucy Warburton, Amy Sargeant, Holly Richards, Sam Vickers, and Helen Parish who has a qwc, as well as a whole host of unranked Brits on the alts list.
Anna Smith is only three away from getting in as a DA, so if she gets in her wild card will I imagine go to Kat Brown or maybe Natasha Khan.
Laura for a WC here is a dead cert.....the only way that she wouldnt play here is if she was injured. Who wouldnt want Laura playing in their uk event a week after what she just did.
I would have thought Anna Smith would have scraped in as a DA (the top seed in qualies was 4th alt), but all of the obvious recipiants are in qualies, maybe Sam Vickers rewarded for her performances last week or maybe Amy Askew? Or someone who didn't enter like Borwell or Cavaday?

Look who has got Anna's wildcard - from the LTA site (poor Yasmin - up against it tomorrow):
Keothavong headlines Barnstaple $50k
British No.1 Anne Keothavong has accepted a wildcard into the LTA Womens 50k tennis tournament at the Tarka Tennis Centre in Barnstaple.
Currently enjoying the highest ranking of her career, world No.80 Keothavong is the tournaments top seed and will face Chanelle Scheepers, the world No.164 from South Africa, in the first round.
The pair, who are scheduled to play on Wednesday, have met once previously, in Bangalore this year, with Hackney-born Keothavong running out the winner in straight sets.
Elena Baltacha of Middlesex is another of Britains top-ranked players competing in Barnstaple. The world No.135 and British No.3 faces Melanie Klaffner of Austria on Wednesday.
Baltacha reached the second round of the Shrewsbury $75k a week ago and this will be her first match against Klaffner, the world No.261.
Rising star, 14-year-old Laura Robson from London has accepted a wildcard into the tournament and will face the tournament No.7 seed, Angelique Kerber of Germany, in the first round on Wednesday.
Barnstaple will be Robsons third ITF womens event and she will qualify for a senior world ranking following her performance this week. Her opponent is currently ranked No.143 in the world but has been ranked as high as No.67 (in 2007).
Robson reached the semifinal of the LTA Womens $75k in Shrewsbury a week ago and faces hot opposition in Kerber, who won a $25k tournament in Madrid in September.
Main draw matches begin in Barnstaple on Tuesday with Yasmin Clarke of Great Britain taking on Vinci, Bremond taking on Tatjana Malek of Germany, Corinna Dentoni playing Johanna Larsson of Sweden, the tournament No.8 seed, and Klaudia Boczova playing Veronika Chvojkova.
21.45 and still no qualifying results from today or OoP for tomorrow anywhere (LTA, ITF, TE, BO site) plus no main draw on the Barnstaple site and the top news story is so out of date it's comical. Great-looking site (ish), shame about the content ...

I haven't got time to post detailed qualifying results, sorry, but they are at last available on ITF and I've updated the top 25 table with them and the consequent ranking changes. Natasha Khan is the only Brit who made it to the FQR and she will play Boffa.
