Mostly to do with the timing of the DC tie and how it almost guarantees Andys participation. But Neil goes on to shed some light on 'Queens-Gate'.
"Unless Josh Goodall's career goes into freefall in the next few months, this has to be the opportunity to blood the British No3, who has been yearning to show what he can do for his country but has been overlooked because of a falling-out with Murray at Queen's Club last year. Goodall had been expecting to play doubles with Ross Hutchins in one of the highest-profile events of the year, but after some wheeler-dealing behind the scenes, Jamie Delgado became Hutchins's doubles partner and cross words were exchanged.
It is understood that Goodall and Murray have exchanged e-mails in recent weeks and are willing to let bygones be bygones, which makes for a happier situation all round. It is not as if Britain have many other options to allow petty differences to stand in the way of international progress. It is a message that should resound through the LTA, which cannot allow a repetition of the disorder that descended on last weekend's defeat by Austria." (Times Online)
So perhaps they have kissed and made-up...good.
I would not say Josh is a shoe-in by any means especially how close Chris Eaton stretched Stahovsky the other day.
6 minutes is a long time in tennis never mind 6 months but the names that could be in the fray are the likes of Baker, Goodall, Eaton, Boggo and hopefully a surprise or two. They all have time to compete, win titles and give Lloyd a selection headache.
Why does Josh being dropped as a doubles partner for Ross in favour of Jamie D cause a bust up with either of the Murrays?
I suppose when you are told you will be playing with someone in a good event then to have it taken away from you....well you would be pretty annoyed. That seems to be the case here.
I understand that Drew but, why be annoyed with Andy? Does Andy pick the doubles line ups for the Queens tournament now? If not, why take your anger at being dropped out on him?

I think the implication is that Andy uses his influence with Queen's to secure WCs for his friends. I don't know if that's true (though what happened this year suggests to me that he can get them to do anything he wants and that the LTA is toothless over it) but that must be what Josh's perception is otherwise, as you say, why would they fall out over this.

Andy actually requested a WC for the doubles himself at the last minute & got it, hence the hand bags!!! I believe Hutchins switched to Delgado as they then would have scrapped DA or one of them had been given a 100% WC, not sure of the whole thing but Andy defo got a dubs WC.

Josh has never fallen out or had a problem with Andy. It's other people stirring things up that has been the problem. Josh was miffed not just at Andy getting a wildcard but that other partnerships who never played together got wildcards whilst he and Ross didn't. The players were all told earlier in the year that doubles wildcard preference would be given to regular partnerships. It appears the LTA didn't stick to their word.

That all rings very true ...
