Think it's a little unfair to say he should have won that.  Burnham's made fantastic progress lately.  He was struggling to qualify just a few months ago, let alone making quarters & semis.

Klein was ranked 591 a couple of years back.  Then he had a year out from Jun 06 to Jun 07 and then almost another year out from Jul 07 to Apr 08.  It's a bit like Burnham bumping into Colin Fleming!

It was Burnham's 1st Rd win over Lustig was superbly unexpected.

I persoanlly wasn't implying that at all and I dont think anyone else was? I simply felt that this was an excellent chance to make the quarters, sadly it wasn't to be. Supporting the guy and wishing for him to push on to new levels is not exactly being unfair to him.

Anyway, he's turned up as top seed in this week French 15k qualies with what looks like a decent chance of making the main draw. He's out on the road trying to make it happen and full credit to him.
