Congratulations to the 20-year-old constellation, who has made it into a main draw at his 23rd attempt biggrin after getting close quite a few times (the poor guy hasn't even had a WC into a GB Future before!)

Just did a google search to see if it was possible to find out more about Orion and top of the list was his myspace site - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=127200749 (not recommended to those of a nervous disposition when it comes to the use of English - stircrazy, don't say I didn't warn you wink)

His first attempt at a Future was http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=61841&p=3&topicID=12219401&commentPage=0, on another site he describes himself as "Tennis player (unemployed)", I guess that's like an actor in between jobs! smile.gif

If the results didn't speak for themselves, I'm sure one look at his myspace site made up the LTA's mind. Unfortunately, even if they do start giving out wildcards for drinking, smoking and urinating on the streets of St Albans, I can think of a few other young British players who would still get the nod.

LOL I attempt to be diplomatic for a change only to have my diplomacy blown to shreds biggrin

He hasn't been losing every match though - he's got quite close to qualifying more than once. Even Morgan Phillips went through a similar run before qualifying for his first event. Could Morgan be a bit more committed? Quite possibly ...

Ianni is the guy with the clever trick serve recorder at TBarm7's challenger in Dallas.

I wonder if he pulled it out of the bag against Feaver?
