Britains got davis cup talent

Ha, ha, sorry I already claim rights over this idea, see the previous page  smile

It is actually to be a program showin over a weeek period, i.e. on the nights of the particular matches,

It is to be called "Davis Cup : Your Country Needs You"

As of now, I am still waiting for contact from the LTA and / or any television companies

The whole saga has been the straw that breaks poor Boggo's back.

He's changed his name to Daniel and signed for Barnsley at football.

Yes, he's a striker. Apparently Barnsley wanted someone with a proven record of putting the ball in the net.

Will JL be quoted tomorrow saying he still won't have him in the DC squad? wink

From the following report on the BBC website, it would appear that after a bad start, Bogdanovic pounced to bring things close and promise much, but ultimately it ended in defeat.

Anyone heard such a story before  ?   smile

Barnsley 1-2 Ipswich

An early double from Jon Stead was enough to maintain Ipswich's play-off surge while sinking Barnsley towards the Championship relegation zone.

Stead fired his side ahead after eight minutes with a neat, low shot
underneath Heinz Muller.

And he doubled their lead two minutes later, taking advantage of defensive confusion to bundle the ball home from close range.

Daniel Bogdanovic replied for Barnsley in the 47th minute with a calm finish.

Strange as it may seem, I'm one and I take umbrage at other people taking the Tykes' name in vain.wink The fans won't need to sing the words to "Boggo's song" for a while as our Boggo has got himself injured. nod.gif

I'd take Greg for doubles if he is in shape.....he knows the lingo too!

im pretty sure he doesnt actually, he speaks fluent german french and english,i no this beacuse his press conferances interviews etc were often shown in french or german in norway as apposed to english.

He speaks French because he was born and raised in Montreal, but I think you will find that some of Greg's family is from the Ukraine.  Obviously he has British blood too, but I know his Ukrainian roots for a fact.

In about 1998 or so when Great Britain defeated Ukraine 3-2 in Ukraine Greg commented in an interview about how he could tell what the Ukrainian players/coaches were saying about the British team.  I remember reading this well and so have always believed that Greg knows the lingo there too.
