wow good win by bloomers esp considering his recent form. we have seen stoppy bt and push boggo close recently.
great to come out and win after losing the TB.

ouanna is a good chnace for bloomers to make the qf's, get some points on the board and maybe some confidence back

I love it when the LL thing happens to a Brit. EVen if it was at the expense of another Brit in Boggo.

(BTW does that mean Boggo drew Stoppy again!?!)

Lets not forget our expectations for Josh against Ouanna were dashed, but all the best against him Bloomers!

Nice to see Richard get a little good fortune... Is it 5 points for a R1 win?

No, Boggo was drawn against Sébastien de Chaunac.  His place in that R1 tie has been taken by Boggo's intended doubles partner, Vladimir Obradovic!

6 points for rd 1 win

So now Rich has a 3-0 against Stoppini but has a 0-1 against Ouonna, losing in 3 sets last year.

yeah its a shme boggo couldnt play as that was a very nice draw to make the qf's at least. de chaunac then a WC/Q in the 2nd rd.  but its better to rest and be fit for the rest of the season rather than risk aggrevating it

Wednesday play starts 1.30 (12.30 BST)

Josh vs Desein is 2nd match on ct 2

followed by Rich/Prakash dbls

then 5th match not before 6.30 (5.30 bst) Josh/Jamie D dbls match

I am still amazed at play starting as late as 1.30 and only two courts being used

Great to see a good win for Bloomers ... and no seeds left in his section (not that it's going to be easy even without them)

Well done to Bloomers on getting the win, and hopefully that is exactly what he needs to get his confidence going again, and Ouanna is definately a winnable round 2 match for him

Josh will meet qualifier 21 yr old Niels Desein (BEL) rank 367 but does not play Tuesday -once again only two courts in action.

Desein is another Brit-Basher. furious  12 out 12 wins vs Brits!!

Though he's never played a Brit as good as Goodall.

He has beat Eaton, Slabba, Seator, Rushby, Milton, Hutchins...
