Since picking up his first ranking point in June, Burham has now picked up further points in another 6 events which is pretty good going. I can see from ITF/ATP sites that he's 20, born in Australia and travelled to play abroad a couple of times last year without success.
Does anybody know anything about him beyond those facts though? Has anybody seen him play? His choice of surface would suggest he obvioulsy likes the fast courts so I presume a big server, maybe a serve volleyer? I've taken to watching out for his scores in particular, could he have a decent future in the game?
Arghhhhh. Roy has never won a main draw match before and the two seeds Burnham was schedule to face in the 2nd round and quarters both play mainly on the clay.
8 aces, no double faults, 65% first serves in yet loses in straights. Gutted.
