8 qualifier/LL spots? That means everyone who gets to the FQR will basically qualify? So basically all the players in qualies will just be playing for an additional point with no further reward. I might get the chance to see some high quality tanks!
Laura playing a qualifer so won't be on tommorow, but I think I will be going on Wednesday afternoon as well so I can see her then if they put her on later.

IF ANYONE KNOWS THEY ARE GOING TO BE AROUND ON THE BOARD TOMMOROW PM ME YOUR NUMBER AND I WILL SEND UPDATES.
Little concerning if Laura is playing as I feel at her age whenever there is an injury alot of time should be taken to assess the situation and allow for a full recovery

With the people around Laura looking out for her including her Mum I would be shocked if they would let her play when still injured. Perhaps they are guilty of over protection rather than the opposite. Which is no bad thing IMO.
Is this Sarah Borwell's first singles tournament since she won a title somewhere in the UK (East Anglia somewhere iirc)? If so, with the wins she's getting here she must be tempted to recant her semi-retirement!

No she's played several tournaments for fun since reaching the final of Felixstowe (I assume that's the event you are talking about). She even crushed Bollettieri up and comer Tammy Hendler. But the gap between her singles and doubles ranking are so big now (and her doubles ranking will be in the 120s if she wins this tournament) that the chances of making a proper go at singles again must be close to non-existant.
