Marcus is doing great.....I have been super busy. I coach a High School soccer team over here, and two teams for Marcus....work has given me a little break....but it is tough to keep up and I have not been on here that much at all.

Marcus hits with a coach right now for an hour a week, and then he plays league doubles on Sunday evening for an hour and a half....too much soccer going on to get him on court for much more. In a couple of weeks my HS soccer will end and a month later all soccer will be done and he will go back to group lessons.

As for Laura...wow...what a shocker this week has been, maybe some of you guys expected it, but I thought it would be longer until she was beating girls ranked this high.

This girl she is playing was top 100 just last year...no mug....35 years old though...Laura is still only 14...21 years younger !

That's straight into the top 600 (and GB top 12) if she gets a point in her next event. Not bad for a few weeks!

No. 2 seed Maret Ani awaits in the semi-final.

Maret Ani is ranked 105 at the moment but her CH was 63 two years ago and should provide another test for Laura but on this form you would not bet against her. It is not as if she has had to play through qualies and some 3 hours matches this week. She must still be feeling good.

Laura for the Title !
