Is making the younger players go and watch Davis Cup instead of playing tournaments all part of the Blueprint?

What's coming next? Something like Topspin 3 over tournaments, I guess.

Just to clarify that rather woolly statement, Goody beat Evo 7-5 6-4 & plays Robert at 11.00 tomorrow after the Frog saw off the second seed, Prpic, 6-3 7-6(4) in the other semi-final! wink

Not a woolly statement made from a mobile from the middle of court 1 !

Aha!  Thanks for translating Stircrazy.  I couldn't work that one out at all.  Thought Drew had post in the wrong thread.

I've always been rubbish at cryptic crosswords!

Well done to Josh for getting to the final, although given how far above the rest of the field he is, it's something he really should be doing.

I'd expect him to win the title tomorrow, which will make it a very good week for him

Sorry, Drew, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm afraid it was!  Had I not come on here already armed with the semi-final results, which I'd seen on the ATP site & was intending to post, I wouldn't have had the foggiest idea what you'd been trying to say! confuse.gif

Akhenaten:  you're very welcome. smile  All part of the Stircrazy Translation Service - though I normally deal with foreign languages, not with challenging text in my mother tongue! wink

Great to see Josh have a good week and i hope he wins the title but given his ranking now i hope he just concentrates on challengers to try to make inroads towards the top 100. At 200 in the rankings he is ranked too high for futures surely and he needs the bigger ranking points to move forward. Still good week but expected in my opinion.

Dusty, he's playing here because he won the title in this event last year and wanted to defend the points before he goes and plays challengers for the rest of the autumn. I think Josh can make top 150 before the end of the year. Winning this will keep him around the 200 mark and then he can go and make inroads in the challengers to progress.

I expected that to be honest. Robert is Nielsen in disguise.

I remember a couple of years back it felt like he won every British Futures tournament of the year
