RE: Week 38 - Futures F15 (15k) - Nottingham 2, Great Britain

Great performance by the younger Farquharson to make the main draw. I've seen him play and he can definitely play a bit, but I think Prpic is definitely a step too far at this stage

Stephane Robert was out of action for 16 months 'til June 08, so is not ranked as high his ability (is that the way we're supposed to phrase it now!).

He has a career high ranking of 168.  He's won 2 challengers too & 10 futures/sats.  So he's pretty darn good.  So Flan shouldn't feel too bad!

It gonna be a tough one for Goodall though if they both reach the final.

*  Finally!  A couple of Brits manage to overcome foreign opposition!  Well done, Josh & Dan. smile

**  Just noticed that Sean Thornley was scheduled to play the third seed, Frédéric Jeanclaude, today, but reached the second round by virtue of beating his fellow Brit, James Turbevill, who must have been drafted in as a lucky loser.  Nice one, Sean! biggrin

I'm sure some of the players read this board and adjust their results to suit! wink

Well Johnnylad you have eventually blown it...thanks to the 6 games taken off Josh today.

So you dont have a shed eh ?

Well SURPRISE SURPRISE we have all chipped in (Even the LTA have thrown in some loose change...due to their recent windfall) and we have bought you this fantastic newish shed....

All it needs is a lick of paint, new windows, doors, felt, wiring, rafters......

Im sure you will enjoy many a night tucked-up in bed* wondering if josh let him win those games just to see you suffer ?

* straw bale or concrete slab.

I hear you can get 2 for 1 on thermals from Asda right now !

Lovely shed there Drew. nice and roomy.

So now we have the Shedman and the Shedlad on here - are they related. And who's going to dare to place the next shed bet? smile.gif

Good effort by Farquharson. He's one to watch, he's still only 16 or 17

Don't worry Johnnylad, my prediction was far from inspirational....

But at least I didn't agree to live in a shed - hee hee!
