Week 37 - ATP (€370,000) - Bucharest, Romania

Ross Hutchins plays with Jim Thomas, whom he won the Segovia challenger with last month, and they are the 4th seeds!! They have drawn Jeremy Chardy and Teimuraz Gabashvili in R1.

Great to see Ross doing well in doubles. Top 100, direct entry and seeded in a main tour event. He seems to be making a decent career here so good luck to him.

Ross and Thomo should be making an appearance this afternoon. Not before 3pm in Bucharest, which makes it around 1pm here ( I do believe wink).

They are up on LS, Hutch / Thomo to serve first.

First set lost 6-2 - Hutch got broken twice I'm afraid.

And Hutch gets broken again - not staking a claim for next week!

What a disappointment. cry I leave me computer for lunch and this happens. As you say seagull, not a positive sign to give out for inclusion in the DC doubles.

Somdev lost to Almagro by 7-5 in the third set. cry.gif

Gutted, as the man he beat in qualies, Volandri, got in as a Lucky Loser and drew Adrian Cruciat.
