RE: Week 37 - Futures F14 (15k) - Nottingham, GB

I fancy Fleming/O'Brien to win the doubles. We all know what our Colin is capable of in doubles and the other Colin seems to be in cracking form going by this week's singles results

Colin Fleming through in three think it was 62 16 64
Farquharson fell down the stairs and had to retire after 4 games or so
Dan Smthurst won the firstset but lost the others 63 62

Mr Fleming will come back into the rankings inside the top 1100. Top 950 if he can win his SF.

Fischer's website says he beat Colin 5 & 3 today unfortunately. He's also the fourth member of the Austrian DC team.

Ooh, just a couple of points away from a correct prediction. They won the first set 6-0 too!

Martin won the finals 2:6 7:5 3:0 ret.

He was 2:6 4:5 and Matchpoint down, until that he had no Breakpoint. Than he fighted was always, broke him back to the 5:5 and again for the win of the second set, after breaking him in the second game of third set the opponent didnt want to finish the match by playing. So he won this turnament for 3 years in a row...

And now he is in the Davis Cup team against your nice country...

So...

GO AUSTRIA GO!

Really well played to Martin. Sounds like he clung on to Blandin and then battered him into submission.

It's good news for the other futures players that he misses next week for the Davis Cup wink.gif
