Ooh, we're going to have a new name in the rankings at least. Either David O'Leary or Nick Cavaday. Hopefully we can get a couple of semi finalists out of this but all the top 5 seeds are non-Brits so we will need some upsets along the way.

I don't know what the LTA is doing to put the overseas players off coming over to grab the points like they used to, but whatever it is has been working a bit better recently. LOL

So, you're suggesting that perhaps the LTA are pulling the strings of the big oil firms, BP, Esso etc, in order to keep oil prices high, thus raising the price of flights and hence fewer foreign players will be able to afford flights over to GB?

Three Brits getting on the rankings list, although Fleming of course has been there before great wins for him and Farquharson. Great efforts from Knights, Angus and Brewer. Surprised Cox, Evans and Thornley lost so easily.

Not a bad day at all.

Evans' result seems pretty bad but sonme people from this board have given good reports of O'Brien and these things happen.

Buzzing for Colin Fleming...

2 guaranteed quarterfinalists and a good chance for Colin, Flan and Milton.

Blandin is one of those players whom some would accuse of being overranked from African futures draws. However If I remember rightly he cut through all those tournaments like a knife through butter so it may have just been a cunning masterplan to reach his correct ranking quickly!

This Milton is understated but very good. One to watch...

Happy to see Fleming back playing. Used to follow his results with Jamie Murray. Hope he can get back up there.
