Edit - just seen that the scoring has stopped - Jamie and Liezel lost the first set on a tiebreak.

Jamie had a serve for the set in the tiebreak then wasted what looked like a straightforward volley as they lost 4 points in a row to lose the first set.

Great play from Black and her and Paes come down from 4-6 down to take the tie-break 8-6. Very, very even match so far though.

Aaaargh.

That far side seems to be the one where wind is the big problem. No doubt partly to blame for the double faults.

Edit - I really should check what the last post is before posting.. . my comment was after Jamie dropped his serve, and they are down 1 set and 2-3* in the second.

Huber saves 3 bps, fantastic play from her on that last one. Really need to break Black's serve now or Paes will serve it out.

Actually they are not either of them serving very well, from either side, but they managed to hold with some good net play by Liezel. Still a break down though, 3-4*

Not much between the women but Paes much stronger, consistent and less wayward than Jamie.

Black and Paes win 7-6(6) 6-4.

Shame that they lost, but I think they were always going to be the underdogs in the match given that the women are equal really, while Paes is a better doubles player than Jamie.

Still, another Grand Slam final is a pretty good achievement for him, and this partnership with Huber will probably bring a title at some point
