I finally found which company manages Evo. Tengo Sports (I hadn't heard of them before - not that I am a media expert). Hopefully they're influential enough to get him a wild card or two in the future.
It will be interesting to see how Evans tackles a player who is ranked 300ish, on clay. Even if he loses, it'll be a good experience and he'll get to do Alphen qualies, so it's a win-win situation!
Surprised Illy lost as badly as he did, but didn't think he'd win the match.
And Evans wins again, as expected, and now gets to test himself against Masson, who will be by far the best opponent he'll have faced in this run of his, and I think he may lose the match, simply as he doesn't have the experience on the clay courts.
I suspect Evans will stay with futures for the rest of the year, as he simply won't have the funds to travel to many challengers (and the autumn/winter European challengers are strong and he'll be unlikely to be seeded in qualifying, so it doesn't make too much sense to travel abroad to them).
He may as well get the ranking up this year by winning/going deep in a load of futures evens, as well as playing the Jersey challenger, with maybe the odd challenger thrown in when there are no futures events nearby, and then when he gets his funding back next year, then play challengers
