Anne will play Tashkent where she can a seeding - even a top 4 one if things go her way.

I was looking through TennisForum last night trying to work out where she was playing and I didn't notice that; normally someone has asked about the brits but perhaps they didn't for that event. You obviously have access to the lists.
I would have thought Bali, Guangzhou, Seoul, Tashkent (or Tokyo tier III) then 2 weeks rest then finally Luxembourg and perhaps Quebec was the best schedule from a points perspective.
Um, I think Tokyo is a Tier I now thats why shes an ALT there. I know that the WS, Sharapova (who probably wont play though) and other players have entered it. I think because the Tokyo Tier I event directly after AO and the one which is usually at this time of the year are played at the same place they decided to combine them into one tournament.
But anyway, hopefully shes far from finished at this open. Come on Anne! She can do it!

Honestly, I'm shocked right now at Coin. Perhaps more so at Ivanovic but Coin is a player who not long ago was beaten quite soundly 1 and 0 by one Anne Keothavong.
It's a funny old game.
Has anyone seen Coin play? Is she as bad as rumours suggest?
Wow, Coin wins! She looked pretty good to me, although Ivanovic was poor

No, there are two Tokyos.
This year it changed and the Tier I starts from 15th September, while the Tier III starts from 29th September.
What a fantastic result yesterday, and what fight she showed in that third set. She sounds like she's on a real high in her interviews too - her voice makes a lovely change from Muzza's monotone drawl - not that I want to get at him for that, I'm sure he can't help it.
I agree with 71, that's my central estimate on the gbt25 table for her new ranking too. Or is that where you got the 71 from? (trying to work out "TBE"!)
Steven, you're far too modest!
TBE clearly means 'The Best Estimate' and, equally clearly, that means Steven's gbt25 table!!
