Yes. He would have been much higher ranked now if he didn't have to retire.
I don't know how long Sean plans to stay in Ecuador, but it would be good to see do qualies at Quito - which is in week 37. Although it's on clay, he may be seeded to qualify as the initial cut is 473, and they'll pay for his room if he's in the main draw.
Another good win for Thornley, and he's making the most of this trip to Ecaudor.
Don't think he'll win the semi final, but he does have the ability to be top 500 (as a bare minimum), so it's not outrageous that he could possibly beat d'Agord
