lets hope the fact the challanger is in jersey means loadsa top 200 players are unable to find it and miss the sign in deadline and we have brits dominating
In my opinion, Marray, Josh, Eaton and Rich should do all the IH Challengers and one week of Tour qualies.
When I spoke to Jonny last week, he was inclined to play the three challengers in the states before starting indoors. He said that although he has a good record indoors, it can be a long grind with basically five- siz months of indoor events and if you stay outdoors for a bit longer you tend to be fresher for the indoor events especially if you're planning to keep playing pretty late in the season (which he is).
He wasnt 100% certain but that was the most likely plan, whether it works out well or not time will tell.
Kind of makes sense as if he plays in Europe, he'll have to take the DC week off (or play a Futures, which I don't want him to).
Jonny may also like to skip Helsinki and go to Asia instead if they add another Challenger in December. The fields will be weaker and he should get a direct entry if he plays even moderately well in the next few weeks.
The Challengers in Australia that are normally held in December have been postponed to Feb and March. Shame as I wanted the younger players to travel to those. They still can as they'll have two Futures in Australia in place of the Challengers.
India may have a Challenger in the last week of the year (i.e. week before Chennai).
