its also good that he seems to be getting a much better 'base' of points. this is far more sustainble then the odd tournie wins followed by streaks of 0's, look back to earlier this year in april when he had 90 points over 2 weeks, very hard to defend unless you are playing at the next level up.

aparently there was a bust up between malisse and they guy alex will play next. malisse getting angry at some of the guys tactics. readign the matc report didnt sound like the guy did anything too bad, i guess malisse probbaly doesnt like being at challengers. i doubt it will effect alex. he tends to ingore that stuff.
hopefully the person will be able to watch the QF and give us a report plus some more pics. they did get a few pics of BG drying the court! looks like the lta money going to good use!

His quarters won/quarters appeared ratio is remarkably poor for someone with such a good record in semis and finals.
Bad loss, but an okay week overall as he got one of his best wins on this surface. Hopefully he'll now be fresh for USO.
Don't think he should do New Haven as he has had enough court time in the last few weeks. All the others playing USO qualies (barring Josh, of course) and Dan Cox (if possible) should do it, though.
yes its odd, wonder why he finds the qf's such a hurdle? still he does seem to be reaching more qf's recently so i guess its kinda a step in the right direction
its quite disapointing to lose off the back of a good win. but i dont think we can say he wasnt trying anymore, i think his reuslts since wimby show he has been, just sometimes it doest work out.
lets hope he gets a nice draw at the USOQ and and get at least to the FQR.

Maybe it's just that he gets extra motivation in the latter stages and it has nothing to do with losing in quarters. No idea...
The loss may be a good thing, really, as long as he wins two or more rounds next week. If he had reached the final here, he would be in a bad shape next week as he's still not 100% fit from what we can gather.
