Sun shining most of the day here in the People's Republic of South Yorkshire wink

Don't very often have better weather than Larndan. Must mark it on the calendar.

Thanks for the input.

I'm sure no one is keeping it a secret Gary. Once someone knows, they will post. No news as yet. Getting early results from the LTA is like getting blood from a stone. You either have to phone up the tennis centre and ask or wait for the results to be posted on the BBC site or drawsheet.

Now, John, as everybody on MTF knows, we're such a sneaky lot that we put all results updates in hidden posts that nobody can see unless they know the password and the secret handshake. wink

Just when I thought I was getting the hang of things, now I find I have to learn a password and a secret handshake. This is a very complicated sport to follow.

its gets worse Gavinuk, the handshake depends on the phase of the moon which is then cross referenced by your rising star sign.

upon recieving confirmaiton that you are a member of the BTSFASG (british tennis secret fellowship and score guardians) you will be given a encrypted data sheet to alow you to intrepret the codes.
unfortuantly due to an over sight bythe management i was in charge of writing up these sheets and a few discrpancies slipped in. however eventually you will get what you have wanted all along: 64 64.

ROFLMAO at the way you took that silly idea of mine and ran with it far further than it deserved. smile.gif

Is that score real? Nobody's reacted, suggesting that nobody thinks it is.

no of course its not real, if it was it would be hidden by code silly!
cant go round openly posting scores you know - i'd be punishid like that other member who did that, he's called sheddie for a reason after all.

64 64 to me the is archetypeal tennis score.

Evo will have the advantage of having played today, so I think he'll be the favourite tomorrow.

It's quite likely that he'll reach the final here.

But I bet he cries every single night that he can't play in the Nationals. cry.gif

Great win for Hewitt, and whatever he did on his time off over the grass court season seems to have worked, and a pretty good chance of a semi final for him here.

Another great win for Evans, and Kinsella shouldn't be getting broken that often, and he's on fire over the last few weeks, and has got to be a good bet to reach another final here... it makes the dismal performance against Malisse at Queens seem even stranger now, as he clearly has the talent but just didn't show up at all.
