Week 33 - Futures F13 (10k) - London(Cumberland), GBR

Tournament Key : M-FU-GBR-13A-2008
Dates : 11 Aug to 17 Aug 2008
Venue : London (Cumberland), Great Britain
Surface : Hard

So a host of Brits here.

DA's are :

Bammy (Hope he is fit), Illingworth, Feaver, Hewitt, Bains, Milton...

Flanagan and Evo should get SE's but they could get in direct still I think.

Rice and Kinsella are on the fringe of the MD.

Qualies should have Arlidge, Brassington, Alinson, Miotto and more.

I have asked the LTA for draw info when available.

I see there is a Michael Ward in the qualifiers. Is he related to James Ward or Alex Ward or is it just a coincidence all three are called Ward?

I don' think he is. It's a pretty common name in Britain. James and Alex are not related either!

Evo is top seed in qualies again, so no SE or DA.

Hopefully he'll ease through again like he has in the last two weeks!

Ian Atkinson as well as Tom Burn!

No WC for Fitzy either, and too many Brits at the nationals. It won't be as fun this week!

Bains who has a DA was watching the Wrexham final today. Wrexham is his home academy where he trains. I expect he is travelling down with Evo today...

Evans just missed out again, so another couple of matches for him, although with his confidence behind him he should qualify, even if he Colin Fleming probably in round 2.

Evans, Arlidge, Brassington, Corrie, and Fitzy should all qualify, to join Bamford, Illingworth, Feaver, Hewitt, Bains, Milton and maybe Flanagan and Kinsella (and Rice) in the main draw.

Guess the WC's though should be a fun game!

I think Flan, Kinsella and Rice will have got them if necessary, but the first two should have made the cut when the SE were cleared, so maybe 1 for Rice.

Allinson, Miotto and Wire are the only other Brits on the alternate list who aren't in qualifying, and none of them scream WC candidate at you (although Miotto could have got one), and there's a chance Skupski has blown back from the US to play here and taken a WC (same with Jonny Marray, but I doubt it)

Yeah, Nott and Pritchard make sense after last week, and Rice just missing the cut deserves one as well.
