The series of Iberian 25Ks moves from Spain to Portugal and picks up extra British interest. Georgie Stoop and Anna Fitzpatrick should be in the main draw, whilst a raft of British players are in qualifying (3 rounds, starting Saturday).

2nd source confirms this. Tennis Forums have someone at Coimbra who confirmed that Stoop beat Thorpe.

Comment on the match from tennisforum:

"Stoop was beating Thorpe easily with not many games going to deuce. Thorpe didn't seem like she knew what she was doing there that's all i can say...[Georgie] was speaking perfect english with a girl that i think was Hawkins (who was complaining about the fact that the OOP wasn't out till like 10.45PM in the day before)"
