lets not open that can of worms save it for another thread, but do agree its like weve has loads whove just bin the edge of top 100 but missing jsut that extra umph like delgado, cowan boggo, pamer and i think bloomers n goodall are others well see tho.
yeh eaton serve i think has potential to be a massive weapon. tho ive still not seen much of slabba's serve heard its very good,he seems to play quite a few tie beaks.
Wardy and Eaton will achieve more in tennis than Slabba i feel
Can't remember Slabba competing or beating anyone in the top 200, he's had a few chances to mix it with them but failed everytime so far. Still early days for him though i guess.

This year hes beat both Muller and Smeets who are two very solid top 150 players, though i agree hes had some very modest oponents and is going out in 2nd round of challangers.

I think Eaton's Wimbledon run is being overrated by a lot of people... Eaton has a slightly better serve and his volleys are better than Slabba's, but his groundstrokes are nowhere near as good and on slower courts Eaton is going to struggle to win matches against quality opponents.
Before Wimbledon he'd reached a single futures QF all season, but he is a better player than that.
I'd say Eaton will get to around 150 tops, and that's with an improvement in his game and getting some nice draws in the grass court season, as other than on grass, I don't see him picking up lots of ranking points at challenger level (and lets not forget, he didn't qualify for Surbiton, nor Nottingham, lost in the WC play-off, and then beat Pashanski, one of the biggest grass clowns on the circuit at Wimbledon)
Slabba though has a better chance of making the top 100, but I still don't think he'll get past the 150 mark, as although the elements to his game are there, he's not quite got something to make him look like a top 100 player.
Ward definately has the talent to be top 100, and the fact he can play on clay will help him, and it gives him an extra 3 months of the season to score points, but has to cut out these silly losses to lower ranked players if he's to move quickly up the rankings
10a.m.tomorrow, New Delhi time, so that should be around 4.30a.m. BST with the doubles at 9.30 a.m. BST. ( I hope I've worked that out correctly)
Actually, H, I think you're an hour out: Delhi's 4½ hours ahead of London, so by my reckoning, that would make it a 05.30 BST start for Goody's SF, with the doubles final at 09.30 BST, as you say!

Whoops! Knew the time difference was 4hrs 30mins. Obviously need more time on simple subtraction.
